SIBLINGSHIP TESTING


Siblingship testing is a DNA relationship testing process that is utilized to ascertain if two or more people share one or both parents. Half siblingship is determined if one parent is shared. A full sibilingship determation requires that both parents are in common. This indirect method is invaluable to prove family relationships when the alleged father is unwilling or unable to perform a test.

A minimum of 80 percent certainty is required for these test results to be positive and inconclusive. These tests are done at the 41marker level.
